At Hope Counseling, my approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and the belief that healing begins with feeling truly seen and supported. I believe my clients know themselves best, and I deeply value the time, energy, and motivation they bring to therapy. Our work is focused on what you want to focus on — your goals, your values, and the changes you want to make in order to live the life you envision for yourself. I draw from evidence-based modalities including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based practices to tailor treatment to your unique needs. I am trauma-informed and strengths-based, honoring the resilience you already carry while helping you navigate symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, and other emotional challenges. Therapy with me is an active, collaborative process — we explore patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools — while also holding space for the slower, deeper work of self-understanding and growth. I currently provide virtual therapy to clients in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Texas, and Florida, with Arkansas coming soon. Whether you are navigating a crisis, working through past trauma, or seeking meaningful change, I strive to cultivate a space where hope can take root and healing can unfold.

Currently seeking members for a 8-month virtual therapeutic group that is designed to provide a safe, supportive, and empowering space specifically for women healing from domestic violence. Through guided discussions, trauma-informed practices, and the sharing of personal experiences, participants will build resilience, reconnect with their sense of self, and develop practical tools for ongoing healing and growth. The group fosters connection and mutual support, helping women move toward greater empowerment and emotional well-being.

Through my experience working in hospital settings, I have developed strong skills in conducting comprehensive level of care assessments. These evaluations are designed to understand an individual’s current mental health needs and determine the most appropriate level of support — whether that be outpatient therapy, intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), or inpatient care. My approach is thorough, compassionate, and rooted in clinical expertise. In addition to identifying the right level of care, I provide personalized recommendations and assist in connecting individuals to programs, providers, or resources that best fit their needs. Whether someone is in crisis or simply unsure of what support would be most helpful, these assessments can serve as a clear starting point toward healing and stability.

I offer emotional support animal (ESA) assessments as part of ongoing therapeutic work with established clients. These evaluations are conducted thoughtfully and in alignment with current federal guidelines to determine whether an ESA would provide meaningful emotional benefit for a client experiencing a mental health condition. Drawing on my clinical experience and understanding of HUD and ADA regulations, I provide comprehensive assessments and documentation only when clinically appropriate. Please note that I do not offer one-time evaluations or letters for individuals not currently engaged in therapy with me. My priority is to ensure that any recommendation for an ESA is grounded in a genuine therapeutic relationship and tailored to the client’s overall treatment plan.

I provide psychiatric service dog (PSD) evaluations exclusively for clients currently engaged in ongoing therapy with me. During the evaluation, I assess whether a PSD is a clinically appropriate accommodation based on the individual’s mental health needs. It is important to understand that I do not evaluate or certify the dog’s training or behavior, nor can I vouch for the dog’s ability to meet public access standards. A legitimate PSD must be individually trained to perform specific tasks that directly mitigate the handler’s psychiatric disability and comply with all legal and public access requirements. My role is to determine clinical necessity and provide documentation when appropriate, within the context of a therapeutic relationship.

My approach to clinical supervision is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in the belief that every clinician brings unique strengths to the table. I focus on meeting each supervisee where they are, tailoring our work to their individual goals, areas of growth, and professional development needs. Whether we are exploring clinical interventions, navigating ethical concerns, or building confidence in therapeutic presence, I work alongside each clinician to strengthen their skills and deepen their clinical understanding. I particularly enjoy working with clinicians who are new to the field, offering guidance, encouragement, and a safe space to grow throughout their journey. I am well-versed in Colorado’s supervision requirements and ensure our work aligns with state regulations. At this time, I offer supervision to clinicians practicing in Colorado.

As a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience in trauma-informed care, individual and group therapy, and clinical supervision. I’m available to work with interns from universities throughout the State of Colorado who are seeking internship field placements. In my practice, interns will find a supportive and collaborative environment where they can develop practical skills, engage in reflective practice, and build confidence in providing ethical, client-centered care. I’m passionate about mentoring emerging clinicians and helping them grow into competent, compassionate professionals.
