The Story of Hope

Vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy, and creativity

About Our Founder

A woman with dark hair and light eyes, wearing a headband, smiling while sitting on a park bench. She has a ring, a necklace, and earrings, and is wearing a ribbed long-sleeve shirt and dark jeans.

Hope Counseling began as a quiet idea long before it became a practice—a belief that people deserve a space where they don’t have to hold everything together. A space where they can tell the truth, feel what they feel, and be met with a steady, grounded kind of support.

As the founder, what drew me to create Hope Counseling wasn’t just a love for the therapeutic work itself, but the desire to build a community of clinicians who share a similar heartbeat: compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to walking alongside people in the moments that matter.

I wanted to build a practice that felt different from the rushed, high-pressure environments I’d worked in before—places where clinicians were overextended and clients sometimes felt like a number on a caseload. Hope Counseling was my response to that: a space where care feels thoughtful, personalized, and human.

Over time, that vision has shaped how we hire, how we train, how we collaborate, and how we show up for the people who trust us with their stories. I’m proud of the team we’re building—clinicians who are warm, grounded, skilled, and deeply invested in their work. My role now is part therapist, part mentor, part keeper of the vision that started all of this.

More than anything, I wanted to create a practice that feels like a place people can exhale. A place where healing doesn’t have to be rushed, and where growth is supported—not forced. Whether someone is navigating trauma, burnout, relationship stress, or a chapter of life that just feels heavier than expected, our goal is the same: to meet them with hope, honesty, and a meaningful way forward.

Hope Counseling exists because I believe healing is most powerful when it happens in connection—and I’m honored to create a space where that connection can truly happen.
